It is based on LibreOffice, an extremely popular Open Source office suite. This Android version of Collabora Office has been built and refined by a team of experienced Collabora Engineers such as Tor Lillqvist, Tomaž Vajngerl, Michael Meeks, Miklos Vajna, Jan Holešovský, Mert Tümer, and Rashesh Padia. Additionally, their work has been supported by talented students Andrzej Hunt, Iain Billet, and Kaishu Sahu through the Google Summer of Code program.
The app is released under the Mozilla Public License v2 and other Open Source licenses.
